Foreword to the ERA Europe News, Autumn Edition 2015

Dear Members

Welcome to the Autumn edition of the ERA Europe News. How time is running! - we are already in the middle of Christmas business!

As you may have noticed, the form of this newsletter has changed. From now on, the newsletter will be sent out to our members as a “newsblast” containing links to the full articles on our organisation website. The full articles will remain on the public website until the next newsletter appears, then they will be archived in the 'members only' section where they will remain for you to browse and search through at your leisure.

Also the association´s new website has a new modern layout which now looks great on your mobiles and works well on all portable devices. The website development is still evolving to meet your needs, so please don't expect it to be absolutely perfect at this stage. However, I have learned that adding, changing, amending and adapting content is a great way to increase the google ranking. If you think that there is something missing, please contact us to discuss your ideas.

Regarding key events in the ERA calendar, I hope the members who attended Las Vegas had a great and successful show. The next date to note down in your schedule is our Membership Meeting in January. We will meet in Lisbon from January 20th - 22nd, 2016. The General Assembly, the highest body of our association, where the members review the work of the board, oversee the 2015 financials and gather to approve the 2016 Budget, will take place on Thursday 21st – so please SAVE THE DATE. As soon as we have finalised the contract with the hotel we will disclose more details on the location and the program.

We are currently working hard on the 2016 conference – we plan a great opening ceremony for next year and have already found great speakers for the MCMS (Multi-Channel Money Streams) Congress 2016. In the next newsletter we will disclose more about the 2016 conference and start registration.

I hope you enjoy reading the sixth edition of the ERA News in it's updated, modernised form. As always a big hand to the volunteer contributors of our newsletter, without whom this newsletter would not be possible. Why not be part of this group and make the next edition even more interesting?
