Message from the ERA GLOBAL Chairman to the members and friends - July 2021

Dear ERA Global members, colleagues and friends,

As you know we are very excited about our new Las Vegas event scheduled for this September. There has been huge support from companies in our industry and the vast majority of people we talk to are planning to attend.  We are therefore most grateful for this and it makes us confident that Las Vegas will be a huge success. However we are still in a situation where travel into the US from most countries around the world is extremely difficult.  We had been expecting an announcement on the US ‘travel corridor’ earlier in July. However sadly this has not happened to date. In discussion with the Board, our members and the Cosmopolitan Hotel, we have decided that we now have no choice but to amend our plans.

Due to these circumstances we think it is prudent  and responsible to move the conference. We will be able to communicate date and location the next days.

Our target is early November at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, LV. Unfortunately we do not have enough certainty  to communicate the final date and location considering all known facts and options we do have to provide an event where most of us can safely travel and where holding a conference is financially viable. Our time line for communicating is mid next week. This will allow everyone to have more time to plan ahead whilst we can duly watch the development regarding the impact of ongoing vaccination campaigns and corresponding travel restriction.

Please accept our apologies for having to move from the September date. Although we cannot communicate more details we have decided  to share the latest development with you to keep everyone informed in the light of the latest events. We appreciate that many people will have already booked flights and this may cause serious inconvenience to you.  We are sure however that you will understand that this change of dates has become completely necessary.  We also hope that this will provide certainty for you and enable you to plan your diary and travel arrangements accordingly.

It was with a heavy heart that the Board of ERA Global has had to make this change of plan and we are very grateful indeed for members’ patience and everyone’s support.
