Committee Bulletin: Public Affairs 2Q17
From the Public Affairs committee
In June 2017, ERA Europe joined EMOTA, the European eCommerce and Omni-Channel Association, see press release here. After employing Teresa Hackner for Public Affairs having set the agenda with the ERA Europe white paper, joining EMOTA is the last step to achieve the goal of having a perfect source of information in Brussels as well as being able to use the vast political network of EMOTA in Brussels.
The most important issues are:
- Brexit
- AVMS
- e-privacy
- Regulatory Technical Standard for Strong Customer Authentification
- Cross Border Parcel Delivery
- Consumer Protection Cooperation
- GeoBlocking
